Aster Clinic Certified as an Accredited OFW Medical Facility
Aster DM Healthcare, Inc., one of the largest healthcare conglomerates in the Gulf Region, Middle East, and India, is fortifying its position in the healthcare market as it continues to deliver quality healthcare services to Filipinos. Adding another milestone, Aster has recently received its certification from the Department of Health (DOH) recognizing Aster Clinic located at the St. Francis Square in Mandaluyong City as an accredited medical facility for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and Seafarers. Now that the OFWs can select the medical clinic for their required physical examination, they can take advantage of the Aster’s facilities, network, and reputation especially if they are going to the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. Joyce Alumno, president & country manager, Aster DM Healthcare – Philippines, explained that the Aster Clinic recently started to introduce the electronic medical records (EMR), which is a standard services in Aster’s network. All transactions are paperless and now able to provide a centralized database that will allow Aster DM Healthcare’s network a seamless delivery of care to its patients.
